One of the most challenging tasks in automation—the disassembly and assembly of deformable wiring cables and connectors—can be automated using CoPick3D and FineLocalizer.
As a representative application case, the sequential connection of a module inspection cable featuring three integrated connectors within an electric vehicle power system was successfully automated within the required takt time. By automating the disassembly and assembly of wiring cables, which previously required manual labor due to the difficulty of automation, production efficiency can be significantly enhanced.
